About

As a passionate educator and researcher in the field of history, I am deeply committed to exploring and understanding the complex dynamics of social and cultural transformations. With a PhD from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, and experience teaching undergraduate students, my research focuses on diverse areas such as slavery, Protestant Christian missionary movements, Dalit Christians, colonial hunting, agricultural labours, and global history. I am particularly interested in the historical processes that shaped labour recruitment and migration patterns, as well as the intersections between colonialism, religion, and labour.
